During lock-down there may well be a drift to snacking, convenience foods and a lack of enthusiasm around preparing meals. Healthy eating is important in maintaining a balanced approach to staying well. Along with physical exercise and mental well being, good nutrition is important in giving your immune system the boost it needs. Nutrition will not prevent you catching the Covid-19 virus (good hygiene is still the best way of protecting yourself), but it is as important in maintaining a healthy overall body.
